Most scheduling apps are built for chains with head-office HR. The small café, the neighbourhood bar, the family restaurant, the boutique hotel — they run on paper, phone calls and group chats, and payroll is a monthly guess. Gastro is for them.
What we believe
- Payroll is money and law — it has to be correct, not "close enough".
- Software should work offline, because back-of-house Wi-Fi doesn't.
- Staff deserve their schedule and pay in their own language.
- A small venue shouldn't pay enterprise prices or an app-store tax.

Gastro is a product of Prometrics Canada, based in Ontario, Canada. We focus on one thing: staff operations and correct payroll for Ontario hospitality.
